FLORAL ART SCHEDULE

n keeping with the aims and objects of our Society, all entries must feature Liliums.

Except where specified to the contrary, all sections open to participants own interpretation. Judges will be guided by the current edition of the Handbook of the Australian Floral Art Association.

N.B. SOME RULES HAVE CHANGED THIS YEAR

As of our 2024 shows all entries, Open or Novice will be entered in the same sections. As with our cut-flower sections, each section will be judged for the First & Second Prizes.

After this a Best Novice Prize will be awarded. Should a Novice entrant win 1st Prize then they would automatically be awarded Best Novice. If a Novice wins 2nd Prize, and the 1st Prize winner is NOT a Novice, then that novice would automatically be awarded Best Novice.

Novice entries are eligible for Champion Floral Art Awards.

Exhibitors will only be allowed one entry in each section, unless specific prior arrangement has been made with the Show Convenor. Any such arrangement would be subject to availability of space.

Similarly, the maximum width and depth of any entry should not exceed 600 mm. There are no exceptions to this rule unless specifically stated in the schedule.

In Floral Art classes Novice exhibitors must not have won more than  five first prizes.  Winning of the Champion Floral Art award places the winner in open category.

For the most successful exhibitor in Sections  5, 13, 16, 22, 23, 24 and 48 at this show, plus Sections 3, 10, 16, 21, 22 and 45, at the Society’s Latrobe Lilium Show. The trophy is awarded following the Latrobe Lilium Show.
